In the afternoon of May 8th, 2015, The OCT Phenomenon Open Forum was held in T Guan at Shenzhen OCT LOFT. Liu Xiaodu was invited as a keynote speaker and lectured with the topic of OCT: marching towards art and creativity. The speech explained URBANUS’ research, thoughts and practice of creative cities by discussing the planning, design and renovation works done at OCT.
The forum, co-hosted by Urban Planning and Land Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and T+A Magazine, aimed to bring in the contemplation of the OCT Phenomenon from the perspectives of planning, architecture, modern art, and creative parks. Experts from different industries discussed the elements for the continuing vitality of OCT from various perspectives.
