Rethinking Chinese Classical Garden Design in the View of Re-production of Social Relations

ABSTRACT
From the viewpoint of social production, this article aims to decode the nature of Chinese classical garden design by postulating that the classical garden design serves as a specific apparatus for the production and reproduction of its social relations. This apparatus is still valid in today’s social production.
