ABSTRACT Shenzhen Public Art Plaza project demonstrates its urban strategy of “Artificial Intervention” and “Cultural Collage”. Through inserting a unique public space and cultural institution in the midst of the hybrid and chaotic city center, it attempts to stimulate a new dialogue with its immediate surroundings.
